Sister Gertrude Comes Home!

Well, next week marks a true day in history! King Britt presents Sister Gertrude Morgan finally touches down in the place where it all started, New Orleans! Sister Gertrude's house is the last standing in the 9th Ward. It is marked historic and this show will mark a full circle of energy. The original album was recorded at Preservation Hall, in 1972. King Britt and Tim Motzer took the masters and redid the album in 2006. They have toured the world with the project, but this will be the first time in NOLA. What better way than at VOODOO FESTIVAL, the biggest yearly show in NOLA. Along side Erykah Badu and TV on the Radio, Sister Gertrude will be heard and scene to the masses ! See you there !
