Philadelphia outfit, WishUWereHere, has just signed with FiveSixMedia. Their debut self titled ep drops next week, exclusively in the FiveSixStore. King Britt and the band have a similar love for shoegazer sounds like Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil and Lush. The band's ep draws on those influences but keeping a raw outlook on production. WishUWereHere is also planning a monthly with King at various venues in philly for 2009, playing the void in the club scene. Shoegazers unite! Check out one of the songs in the FiveSix player.
