Alison Moyet has been one of my favorite singers ever. Since I was in high school listening to Upstairs at Eric's by her old collaboration with Vince Clark as Yazoo.

So, in 1999, i had the honor of working with her on my Re-Member's Only album (soon to be re-issued and re-mastered). I had this beautiful instrumental that i had written with her in mind. Everyone told me that it would be nearly impossible to get her to guest on the song. I had an in with her manager at the time Debbie through the great Andrea Parker, who were all friends. I sent the song fed ex to Alison and the next day i got a call from Ms Moyet. I couldnt believe it! She had written the song and was ready to come record. I booked a ticket and BOOM!....a great masterpiece! Also, she was the only singer i know who sang sitting down, to get a deeper tone.
