BUTTERFLY X DOODLEBUG: FRESH OUT
So, everyone always asks me what happened to Digable Planets. Well, they broke up after the genius Blow Out Comb album, then re-united years later for a few tours in USA and Europe.
In between each member was prolific in releases. Doodlebug has released many mixtapes and albums. His new one, The Intifada, is out now and killing the underground. Butterfly released his Cherrywine album and appeared on my Adventures in LoFi album. Now he has just released his Shabazz Palaces project (they will be performing in Philadelphia on September 26 @ The Painted Bride). LadyBug, released a very eclectic and wonderful record, Trip the Light Fantastic a few years ago.
Now, I present the Butterfly and Doodlebug tour. The homies will be touring this fall performing some new t'ings in the works. Below is a demo of my fave Fresh Out!

It's been too long! More realness to reclaim Hip Hop and remove it out of the molesting garbage called autotunes and all the current pretenders' hands! Too hot!

With death of the auto tunes I think Jay Z wants to be a DP...
